We need to ask ourselves if our service to God is selfish or selfless. So many of us need to have some sort of self pleasing attribute to our serving or giving. If we don’t “feel” anything then we don’t do anything. We even choose our church by what they have to offer us. Not by what we might can offer them. Use what God has given you to serve and be obedient to Him and you will not have time to think about what you “feel”.
Remember, it isn’t about YOU; it is about serving others through your obedience to Him. We exist to bring glory to God .
Just saying…..

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Let the words of my mouth be for your pleasure, and the meditation of my heart before you, LORD JEHOVAH, my helper and my Savior.
The words we speak as well as the words we choose not to speak can have an excessively big impact on the people around us. It can be said the spoken word once spoken can never be taken back. It may be forgiven but not forgotten. The harm of negative and hurtful words has lasting effects. We all can probably think of something once said to you and it has stayed with you throughout life.
As well as thinking back and knowing a time when you should have said something but chose to remain silent. That opportunity may never again be afforded to us. A blessing lost. A soul not touched.
May we seek the grace of our Lord when we have issues concerning our words.
